With 25 years experience in helping people find solutions and make positive life changes, Carol is a natural teacher and coach. She enjoys a thriving coaching practice and is passionate about helping others succeed. Carol has a warm and genuine personal style and an enthusiastic love of learning.
Carol is a psychologist, consultant, author, and Master Certified Coach. She is on the faculty of Mentorcoach and was chosen as a trainer in the Authentic Happiness Coaching program led by Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Ben Dean.
She specializes in training and coaching individuals transitioning into coaching, expanding their businesses and reinventing themselves.
Carol enjoys helping people incorporate a healthy lifestyle, decrease stress and strengthen their resources. She has written 5 books and produces a weekly email newsletter with over 16,000 subscribers. Carol’s passions in life are her family and friends, yoga, music and spending time in nature. She is a member of the International Coach Federation.
I wasn't always a modern, suburban woman. My early years were spent in a tiny house on the grounds of my grandparent's farm in upstate New York. Seems I was quite a little shepherd back then.
My teen years were spent on the back of a horse . . . riding, training and teaching others the joys of horseback riding. These years culminated in an event called the "Gambler's Choice". It was the main event of a horse show in which the riders got to choose their own path in the stadium. (I was always big on charting my own course.) I've often asked myself what it was about that day that made everything come together. I could see the course in my mind. I had a very clear focus and mission -- to round the fences cleanly, as fast as I could go. If I rushed it, I risked hitting fences or missing a turn. If I played it safe, I risked losing to someone else on time. But losing wasn't really an option.
