Websites are tricky business.
You've heard about how important it
is to have a website to help build your business.
And it's true.
But if a website only looks
beautiful, but doesn't perform for you, then it isn't doing you any
good.
That's 1 reason that I've become a
HUGE fan of blogging
--
A blog is an easily updateable
website -- once you are up and running, YOU DON'T NEED a web designer.
If you can write an email, you can
add your content to a blog.
It's that simple.
Blogs can look beautiful AND
perform well . . . that is, bring you TRAFFIC, and potential CLIENTS.
You can create a blog instead of .
. . or in addition to . . . a traditional website.
And it's one of the most effective
ways to build a presence online.
You may know that I am also a big
fan of EASY solutions -- that's why I named my blogging company "Easy
Coaching Websites."
EASE of use of use is one of the BIG
advantages of blogging.
And blogs are not only EASY --
they are far BETTER than traditional websites.
With a traditional website, you
are going to do all the work to get your site designed and get your copy
written.
Then you are going to WAIT for the
search engines to find you.
It's called the "Google
sandbox", and it can take as long as 18 months. While you are spending
time in the sandbox, your potential clients are spending time looking for you.
With a blog, your potential
clients will be able to find you within a matter of weeks.
