Have You Heard the Expression --
To subscribe, go to www.TechTipsForCoaches.com From Carol Solomon, Ph.D., PCC Or how about . . . "The Fortune Is In The Follow Up?" Follow up is critical in any business, especially a service business. It's not your potential client's job to remember you. It's YOUR job to make sure they don't forget you. The problem is, follow-up can be HARD, and labor intensive. First you have to gather names of individuals or groups who "might" be interested in your services. Then you have to compile them into a contact management system. And no, a pile of random business cards, scraps of paper and post-it notes is NOT a contact management system. Then you have to spend YOUR TIME contacting those people in some consistent way. You know, it takes at least 7 contacts for a potential client to do business with you. So you send them articles, holiday cards, announcements of your new services, etc. And you dedicate time to calling them, meeting them for coffee, etc. Or do you? These are all good things to do . . . and they all take TIME and consistency to do them. Internet marketers know where the money is. It's a well-known fact. Hence the expression -- "The money is in the list." If my computer was going to blow up and I could only take one thing, you know what it would be? No doubt -- my list! Once someone opts into your list, they are 5 times more likely to buy something from you. If I had to go back in time, lose everything and start over, I would be doing 1 single thing -- building an email list. It's my most important marketing asset. In fact, it's a marketing engine. Let's consider the facts: 1. Potential clients are skeptical. These days, no one trusts anyone unless they know you. 2. Potential clients need to trust you before they will use your services. 3. Clients who use your services are likely to use your services again, and recommend you to others. 4. Most visitors to your website leave your site and NEVER return. 5. Potential clients who opt in to your email list are the MOST likely to come to a teleclass, join a virtual group and/or hire you for coaching. Here's what that means to you: Your success as an online marketer depends on creating, growing, nurturing and building a relationship with your email list. What your email list will do for you: 1. Allow visitors to your website to develop trust in you. The best way to develop trust is to build a relationship with your readers. 2. Have a built-in group of people who are interested in your services. You can offer them valuable information, and keep them up to date on what you offer and how you can help them. 3. You can offer them your products and/or other people's products. That is a way to MONETIZE your list. Want to offer Teleclasses? Virtual groups? Group coaching? These programs are fun, and allow you to leverage your time. And they all depend on having a list of people to market to. But I don't want to commit to a newsletter! A lot of people are hesitant to commit to a regular newsletter. You might think it will be too much work, or it will be too hard to keep it up over time. The good news is . . . It doesn't have to be an email newsletter -- it can be as easy as a brief monthly update or a short "tips" newsletter. There are easy ways to get content, so you don't have to think up your own ideas. And it doesn't have to be hard! It may seem like a big challenge now, but like most things, it seems hard until you learn how to do it. And the learning curve on this is pretty doable.
Over time, your list grows and you build lasting equity in your business.
2 Years from now, you may wish that you started building a list TODAY -- It's that important!
1. A website -- of course, I do recommend it. But you can (and should) start building a list without it. 2. Prior knowledge of internet marketing -- you follow the steps, implement consistently, and your list grows. Period. 3. You do NOT have to start the newsletter right away, or have everything planned out -- I certainly didn't! Just start building a list, THEN figure out what's the best way to use it in your business. WHAT I WILL TEACH YOU
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? If you don't have a newsletter yet -- that is perfect. You can start from scratch and learn how to avoid critical money-losing mistakes. If you have a newsletter, but it isn't really doing much for you -- then you can learn how to start getting better results. If you have a newsletter and it is bringing you 2 clients per month, then you don't need this class. Here's what others have said about my classes:
Here’s what you will get: WEEK 1 -- How Email Newsletters Work (And What They Can Do For Your Business) WEEK 2 -- Writing Your First Newsletters Fast Start Bonus Audio! If you sign up for the same service that I use, then I can give you an audio that will walk you through the set up (hand holding included). You'll be up and running in no time. WEEK 3 -- Content and Formatting WEEK 4 -- Growing and Monetizing Your List When I started using these techniques, my mantra became: "If other people can do it . . . then I can do it." And you can do it too. There is simply no reason not to. These tips and techniques are what can lead the way to a deeply satisfying career in coaching. What Does It Cost? If you went to a workshop to learn these techniques, it could easily cost over $1000, considering conference fees, airfare and hotel. I could easily charge $299 or more, for the information in this course.
So I am accepting only 20 people for this class. When it's full, it's full. The door will close. And I am not sure when, or if, I will teach it again.
That’s Not All . . . Even if you
can't make the call -- register anyway to get the recordings of
the calls. You don't have to be on the calls to benefit. I will include easy-to-follow tutorials to help you. In short, everything you need to start succeeding online. Oh, and there is a catch. It's not going to happen by itself. You WILL have to work at it. And you will have to be willing to consider some new ideas and changes, maybe even a different mindset. If you aren't willing to do that, then you might want to sit this one out. But if you think you ARE ready, then what I have to teach you now will be well worth it.
Don’t wait to register!
If you have any questions, just let me know. Warm personal regards, Carol (847) 680-0272 P.S. I want you to walk away with ideas, resources and a game plan. I want you to get all of the insights that I have discovered -- the exact ways that I use newsletters to leverage my time and fill my practice. NOTE: All previous courses have filled!
